In July 2012, a Higgs-like particle was discovered by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at LHC. Even though the Higgs particle would be the last particle to be found of the standard model of elementary particles, the standard model has serious problems within itself: the correction to the mass of Higgs involves the so-called fine-tuning problem, and it does not provide a candidate for the dark matter. It also has too many parameters – some of which present intriguing patterns that indicate underlining new physics. In addition, gravity is not incorporated into the standard model. Thus, the discovery of the Higgs-like particle does not indicate the completion of the particle physics; rather, it signals a dawn of new era for the particle physics.

From the upgrade of LHC to high energy lepton colliders, there exist quite a few facilities planned or proposed that are intended to lead the new era. Some aim to reach as high energy as possible while others are at just enough energy to study the Higgs-like particle. In this workshop, we will overview the status of relevant theory and experiment, and attempt to see the direction for the new era of particle physics to take.
